amazing house for a large family group. all mod cons and amazing set up. both the kids and older generations loved the generous sized and centrally located pool, hot tub and sauna. the cinema room added bonis and kids loved the popcorn machine with kernels included. we adulta also loved the generous amount of Nespresso pods provided. we BBQ'd a couple nights on coals, enough provided which was nice. there are numerous supermarkets such as Sainsbury's express and large booths in very short walk to house. the shops, bars and restaurants are literally at the med of the street. this place is not cheap but was immaculate, great location, and large dining room and mulitple seating areas outside for summer months and to watch the stars and chat/have a drink. snug and lounge on top of cinema room. honestly great pace for large group gathering-hoghtlu recommend. plenty of amenities in the house to cook for large groups too. We stayed at Southview for a family reunion. 12 Adults and 2 kids. It was incredible and homely whilst being spacious. It was well stocked and surprisingly much larger than you’d expect. The linen was beautiful and the bedrooms stunning. The amenities from the kitchen to the pool and cinema room were next to none. We have all got together for the first time in 30 years and the space was perfect for us and we felt so at home. Everyone from all ages loved it. The location is superb to everything you’d want in the south lakes and further afield. Reuben you were so kind and approachable and couldn’t have been more helpful. We will be coming back again soon! Everywhere was spotless and it had everything you could think of to make it home from home. The pool table, cinema room and swimming pool provided great entertainment for everyone. It’s in a fab location , within easy reach of pubs and restaurants and we had a lovely walk down to the lake. Reuben was a great host, quickly answered any questions I had and very helpful even calling me straight away to help just after we arrived and needed something. Well where do I start... Firstly Ruben was an amazing host and was very responsive to my messages and there were a lot of messages 🤦🏼♀️. If I could have given 10 stars I would have. We have just got back from a family (16 adults &6 dogs) weekend at South view spa. We cannot recommend South view spa enough, there was so much to keep everyone entertained from the indoor swimming pool, the hot tub, the sauna, the pool/table tennis table and to top it off a cinema with a popcorn machine. All the bedrooms were spacious and from what I remember most if not all had ensuite bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect because you were close enough to everything that you needed but also felt like you had your privacy. Plenty of parking for all our cars. This really was a family home away from home and we really could not have asked for anything more. Southview Spa itself is beautiful, spacious, immaculately furnished and decorated, warm and with enough activities to keep everyone entertained for a whole holiday. The pool and jacuzzi are immaculate also and came with floats/armbands for kids. The cinema room is another great addition, perfect for games/quizzes or just films and easy to cast to an iphone. The house has any amenities you might need, lovely towels, robes, extra toilet rolls, washing machine, detergent and softener, iron and board to name a few. There are also any glasses/cutley/crockery you could ever need. There was even some prosecco chilled for us in advance! Reuben is a fantastic host - I cannot rate him enough. He allowed us brief entry to the house one day in advance to unpack our food and drink and was quick to respond to any/all questions both in advance and during our stay. For large groups in the lakes you could not do better than Southview Spa! 10/10.. 5*s Read less
